Message from the President:

Welcome to the Student Finance and Investment Club at the College of Charleston. First, I would like to welcome all new members to the SFIC. Secondly, I would like to brag about a few of the SFIC's accomplishments last semester. The Team Investment Portfolio took our accomplishments to the next level by researching and trading foreign currencies. Next, the SFIC Executive Board worked with the School of Business to establish a course in Investment Strategy and Portfolio Creation, similar to those at other universities. This course will allow students to gain hands-on experience by actively trading stocks and all other major asset classes. With all of this said, I am looking forward to all of the events planned for this semester and all of the advancements that are in progress.

Hope to see you soon!
Ephraim Elston
